Class Description:

We are so excited to welcome Aura back to Pony! In this class, colorists will learn:

The importance of placement in creating your desired look
Refining your technique to create your desired look
Specific guidelines for working with every type of haircut
Aura will deliver demos and discussion on:

An end to end Balayage / Hair Painting on a Shag Haircut by Corinna
An all-over sun-kissed seamless look on mousey brown, finer hair on a lightly layered bob
Heavy on the bottom, darker on the root high contrast surfery look on a long layer cut
You are going to learn how to visually add dimension to every type of haircut. We will give you guidelines and share examples.

Working with Corinna Hernandez, we will show you how important placement is, and we will break down where placement comes in on three cuts by Corinna.

You will learn how to paint hair as though it’s kissed or bleached by the sun and surf, techniques of painting dimension and color variation in hair and learn the best way to teach your clients to care for their new color at home. You’ll gain a better knowledge on how to approach consultations, set up realistic expectations, learn suitability, and what looks great on your client and why. This class will also take a deep dive into formulation and highlight placement, thinking outside of the box and using your skill set to work more efficiently for you.
