1 Day Look & Learn + Hands-On Editorial Styling and Photography Workshop | October 23, 2023

Class Description:

Here we hope to inspire you and free you from fear of mistakes and have creative fun.

This class will hopefully make you THINK and break away from being repetitive in your styling or the same angle you photograph your subjects.

Full day workshop attendees get to work on their own live models under the guidance of Rolando and our education staff, then work through photo shoots with professional photographer and leave with their own professional photos.

We will show you how to look at things from different angles--the photo may not be from the front but the back of the subject you're shooting.

We will do a set of your choice from curling irons, hot rollers, or a curling iron / velcro roller combo. Or a big frizzed out 70/80's hair do.

Or...?

Then we'll have freedom and no fear as you photograph your creations using different techniques such as model moving, moving the camera, using a wafting board / leaf blower / fans to create wind. From jumping, flipping the head, or using your hands to toss or move the hair around, the idea is to capture an in between moment, or what you may perceive to be a mistake but actually it's a moment.
